SmartBackup 3.0 has just been released, a major update to our favourite backup application.

The new version brings a lot of under the hood changes and improvements but most importantly:

- A revamped user interface
- Significantly improved performance
- A new way to search and restore versions of archive files
- A new "folder sync" style backup mode

SmartBackup 3.0 runs on Leopard and Snow Leopard and is taking advantage of 64 Bit and other great new technologies available in Mac OS X.

The update is free for all users who have purchased SmartBackup after 01.01.2009 or purchased an upgrade to v2.5.

SmartBackup is currently only available in English. Other translations will be made available shortly.
